Your promises

Where would I be without you O Lord my strength and my song

In the days of my confusion and despair you have guided me onwards

I have given up many times with the burden of worry and thinking you don’t care

But you have your way with messages that keep coming to encourage me to make me aware that you are there

You have rescued me when I have gone on my wayward way covered in the guilt of sin

You wait patiently till I call and then deliver me. The journey is bittersweet from the chastening and the lessons taught and learned and now you are binding up my many wounds.

You have taught me and molded me even though half of my life has gone my GOD, I look forward for your promises
